Women seen through the eyes of women.

This photo project was specially organized for a group of women from town. During the 3 workshops they became skilled in taking photos involving light, composition and the contents of the photos. The final photos give a good impression of their view on the role of women in their community. The photos were exhibited in the internet café & restaurant La Casa de Todo. This photo project was sponsored by the Dutch Foundation Mira Mundo.

Environmental awareness through photography.

To promote awareness about the importance of the environment, Arte Acción Copán Ruinas organized the photo project in which different groups of children learned the basics of photography and the role that their environment plays in their life. Armed with a simple camera, the participants distanced themselves from their own lives and analyzed through the camera lens what they normally took for granted.
